He who is outside
his door has the hardest part of his journey behind him
Dutch proverb
This one is about leaving your comfort zone. If you start
doing stuff it is natural to go outside “into the world” and achieve things. I don’t
say that you can’t achieve something at home or that you can’t develop
personally at home, actually your home is essential for your development and it
is important, but if you want to achieve something great, you have to take the
guts and go out there. That’s why normally it’s half the rent if you just take
your lazy ass out of your comfy chair or couch and get out of your home, out of
your comfort zone.
It will take time to get used to “go outside”, but remember
for example you being a kid. Didn’t it feel natural to go and play outside? It
was not interesting if the weather was good or not, we just felt the urge to do
so. Today many of us lost that urge and are used to relax in our homes,
brain dead and idling. Stop that, get up, get out!
