University of Abuja: Nigeria comes 2nd at 20 Nations International Law Students Competition

New VC of UniAbuja, Adikwu has been removed by the National Industrial Court barely a week after he was appointed
Two students of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) came second at the 2015 edition of the 20 Nations International Law Students Competition.
Chukwu Samuel and Esther Johnson-Chu, both law students at UNIABUJA, emerged joint first runners up with Georgia in the competition that was eventually won by England/Wales students.
The international consultation competition was held at the College of Law, Nebraska University, Lincoln, USA
In a statement issued after the competition, the university’s information officer, Waziri Garba, said Nigeria was the only African country in the competition.
After four rounds, Nigeria, Georgia and England/Wales emerged finalists, edging out students from Canada, Georgia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and other countries.
With Nigeria and Georgia tied on the second position, England /Wales emerged winners.
