The housemaid
who abducted three children belonging to her employers two days after she she
resumed work, Mary Akinloye, has been arrested by the police in Lagos.
The nanny who abducted three children
from the Lawanson, Surulere, Lagos, home of her employers barely two
days after resuming work, Mary Akinloye, has been arrested a day after
the children were found.
According to the Lagos
State Commissioner of Police, Kayode Aderanti, the police, through its
superior intelligence gathering methods, tracked down the suspect and
arrested her alongside her accomplices.
The CP who
spoke this morning on a live television programme, Sunrise Daily, on
Channels TV, said operatives from the Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB)
of the state Police Command, rescued the three children at Shasha, Egbeda area of Lagos, while the suspect was arrested and would soon be charged to court.
The
abduction of the kids, Aderomola, Adedamola and Demola, on April 7,
2015, drew a lot of public outcry and became viral on social media
especially after their mother made a passionate appeal for the abductors
to release her kids.
Akinloye was employed through OLX, an online sales portal.
