In Abuja: FG names streets after Jonathan, Atiku, Dangote, others

Some of the individuals who had streets named after them include former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, billionaires, Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola  and outgoing Vice President, Namadi Sambo.

The Federal Government has named some major streets in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja after prominent citizens of the country.
Some of the individuals who had streets named after them include former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, billionaires, Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola  and outgoing Vice President, Namadi Sambo.
The soon-to-be inaugurated Inner Southern Expressway will be named after President Goodluck Jonathan.
This was disclosed on Monday, April 27, 2015, by FCT Minister, Bala Mohammed via a statement released by his Special Assistant on Media, Nosike Ogbuenyi.
Other notable personalities who had streets named after them include former FCT Minister and Governor-elect of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai; Late former Senate President, Chuba Okadigbo; former Speaker of the House of Representatives and Katsina State Governor-elect, Aminu Masari and Chief Justice of Nigeria, Dahiru Musdapher among others
